Always wanted to make bath-bombs and I'm so glad I finally got down to get full on hands-on with this. Truth is, I actually failed twice before succeeding on the 3rd try!! As easy as it looks, making a perfect bath-bomb requires skill, patience and precision. Why? Too much moisture in the bath-bomb would cause it to react prematurely and too little would cause it to crumble. *yikes* but watching it bubble in the end was more than worth it :D
Extra tip: If you want a super dark mysterious tub, try adding charcoal powder into your bath-bomb + black powdered pigment. I used 2 bombs to achieve this darkness as the tub was bigger than my tiny expectations.
Bomb Formula:
- 1/2 cup Baking Soda
- 1/4 cup Epsom Salt
- 1/4 cup Citric Acid
- 1/4 cup Corn Starch
- 3 tsp Olive Oil
- 1 tsp Essential Oils
- 1 tsp Body Soap
- 1 tsp black food colouring
- 1 tbs water
